Learn how to set up Metamask to access your TMPST tokens!

Metamask+AVAX Network Installation Guide

Step 1: Install MetaMask Extension

• Open your web browser (Chrome and Firefox are compatible with MetaMask) and visit the official MetaMask website.

• Click on the "Get Chrome Extension" or "Get Firefox Extension" button to download the MetaMask extension.

• Follow the browser-specific instructions to add the MetaMask extension to your browser.

• Once installed, you should see the MetaMask icon in your browser's toolbar.

Step 2: Set Up MetaMask Wallet

• Click on the MetaMask icon in the toolbar to open the extension.

• Read and accept the terms of use and privacy policy.

• Click on "Create a Wallet" to create a new wallet or "Import Wallet" if you already have one.

• Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your wallet, including creating a strong password and saving your seed phrase in a secure location.

Step 3: Access MetaMask Settings

• Once your wallet is created or imported, you'll be directed to the MetaMask dashboard.

• Click on the account avatar in the top-right corner, then select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Add AVAX Network

Option 1:

• Go to the following website: https://chainlist.org/

• Press “Connect wallet” under the “Base Network”

• • A pop-up should appear via metamask, press “Allow”.

  • Your metamask wallet should now be connected the BASE Network

• In the Settings menu, click on "Networks" in the left sidebar.

• Scroll down and click on the "Add Network" button to add a new network.

• Fill in the following details for the BASE network:

• • Network Name: BASE

  • New RPC URL: Paste the RPC URL for the BASE network (provided by the BASE network or the project you're interacting with).

  • ChainID: Enter the ChainID for the BASE network.

  • Symbol: ETH

  • Block Explorer URL: (Optional) Enter the block explorer URL for the BASE network.

• Click on "Save" to add the BASE network to MetaMask.

Step 5: Switch to BASE Network

• After adding the BASE network, click on the account avatar again in the top-right corner of MetaMask.

• From the dropdown menu, select the BASE network you just added.

• MetaMask will switch to the BASE network, and you'll be able to view your BASE balance and interact with BASE-based decentralized applications (dApps).

That's it! You have successfully installed MetaMask and added the BASE network. Now you can use your MetaMask wallet to manage BASE and TMPST tokens and interact with BASE-based dApps. Remember to always exercise caution while using cryptocurrency wallets and ensure you keep your seed phrase and private keys secure.

How to Claim Previously Purchased $TMPST Tokens:

If you purchased TMPST tokens in the past and still need to claim them, follow these steps:

Note: Before proceeding with the steps below, ensure that you have already installed MetaMask and added the BASE network as per the previous guide.

Step 1: Confirm your purchase

• Check the email you signed up to Tempest with, confirm the date of your purchase.

Step 2: Access the Claim Form

• Visit the official docs of Tempest to find the claim form link. It can be found on the presale page, docs, and links tab in our discord

• Click on the provided link to access the Google form for claiming TMPST tokens.

Step 3: Fill Out the Google Form

• The Google form will require you to provide certain information to verify your purchase and enable the Tempest team to distribute the corresponding TMPST tokens.

• Start by entering your email address, which should be associated with your Tempest account

• Add your metamask wallet (be sure you are connected to the BASE network!)

• Double-check all the entered information for accuracy and completeness.

• Once you have filled out the form, click on the "Submit" or "Send" button to send your claim request.

Step 4: Await Token Distribution

• After submitting the claim form, the Tempest team will review and verify the provided information.

• If the verification is successful, the team will send the corresponding amount of TMPST tokens to your MetaMask wallet address associated with the provided transaction.

• Be patient during this process, as it may take some time for the team to process and distribute the tokens.

• You may consider joining the official Tempest community channels or following their announcements to stay updated on the token distribution progress.

Step 5: Check MetaMask Wallet

• Once the token distribution process is complete, open your MetaMask wallet and ensure that you are connected to the BASE network.

• Add TMPST to your metamask - Contract Address: (CA)

• Check your wallet balance to confirm the receipt of the TMPST tokens.

• If you can see the tokens in your MetaMask wallet, the claiming process was successful.

That's it! You have successfully claimed your TMPST tokens by following the steps to install MetaMask, add the BASE network, and fill out the Google form provided by the Tempest team. Now you can manage your TMPST tokens directly from your MetaMask wallet!
